Helping Bereaved Children – An Introduction for Professionals’ – Atlas Programme (2)
21 November 18
This introductory study day is suitable for anyone working with children professionally who is interested in learning about how to support bereaved children or those who are anticipating a significant bereavement. Previous attendees include school staff (including school support staff), community organisations, those working in Health & Social care, youth workers, religious organisations and volunteers.
Through presentations, discussions and practical exercises, the study day aims to equip delegates with enough knowledge and skills to enable them to support bereaved children and young people more confidently.
This session is also offered as a shorter ‘Twilight’ workshop (4pm – 6pm).
