Gail leads on member communications, with a focus on developing communities of practice for CBN members and ensuring that the voices of bereaved children and families are heard.
From assessing asylum claims in New Zealand to working to reduce homelessness in London, Gail has worked across the both the public and voluntary sector and delivered award winning projects. Her last role before NCB was managing the English volunteering network at Sands, delivering a key organisational change, offering sustainability and resilience for the charity. She has a strong interest in equity of access for both people and services, along with capacity building within the voluntary sector.
As co-chair of a local maternity services partnership, Gail ensured local voices were heard at commissioning level. She is a keen reader, and is part of a book club that has officially shadowed book awards such as The Booker Prize and The Women’s Prize for Fiction.
